Itinerary

Greetings from Sri Lanka! Once you reach Colombo, you will be taken to Kandy. On the way, pause  at Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage, where you can observe various elephants that are hurt and left  behind. Proceed on your journey to Kandy, and upon arrival, check into your hotel. Later, take  a drive to Kandy Lake, followed by a captivating Kandyan Dance Performance. Revel in the stunning  views of the picturesque lake, and then indulge in the Kandyan Dance Performance, which showcases  Sri Lanka's rich cultural heritage through lively acts. Afterward, you will be transported back  to your hotel.

Today, embark on a scenic tour of Kandy. Start your journey at the Market Crafts Centre, where  you can find artisanal goods and memorabilia. Then, explore the Gem Museum, which showcases an  array of semi-precious gems. Take a leisurely walk through the royal botanical gardens, home to  a variety of plant life and the Spice Garden, where you can delve into the world of Sri Lankan  spices. Be sure to visit the Orchid House, which features a stunning collection of orchids in  various hues, and the Kandy Temple, which holds the sacred tooth relic of Lord Buddha.

Embark on a drive to the picturesque Nuwara Eliya. Upon your arrival, check in at your hotel. Next,  embark on a tour of the charming city of Nuwara Eliya. Visit Seetha Eliya, a temple entwined with the  legendary tale of Ramayana. Then, explore the expansive Haggala Gardens, renowned as one of  Sri Lanka’s largest botanical landscapes. Also, wander through Victoria Park, which boasts  vibrant flowers, and enjoy Gregory Lake, where boating activities await. Make sure to visit  the breathtaking Ramboda Falls, nestled amidst lush greenery, as well as the Hanuman Temple,  celebrated for its spiritual significance.Finally, travel back to your hotel.

Today, embark on a journey to Bentota. Along the way, make a stop at Edinburg Viewpoint, where you'll  enjoy panoramic sights of hills draped in mist. Next, proceed to Kithulgala to experience rafting on  the Kelani River (at an additional charge). Continue on to Bentota, and upon arrival, check into your  hotel. Afterwards, enjoy the day at your own pace. You might explore Cinnamon Island, famous for its  method of cultivating cinnamon, or visit Brief Garden, which showcases sculptures crafted by Bevis  Bawa. Later, make your way back to the hotel for an overnight stay.

In the morning, prepare yourself for the Bentota sightseeing adventure. Start with an excursion to  the Madu River, where you can partake in a boat safari (at an additional charge). Revel in the splendor  of the adjacent mangrove woodlands and wetlands, with chances to observe wildlife. Following that,  be transported to the Kosgoda Turtle Hatchery, where you can see endangered sea turtles and their  hatchlings being released into the ocean. Subsequently, enjoy a drive back to the hotel.

Prepare yourself for a journey to Mirrisa and Galle. Start at a Dutch Reformed Church, showcasing  colonial design. Afterwards, delve into the Dutch Fort and Fort Lighthouse—two of the most  impressive structures that provide insight into Sri Lanka's colonial history. Be sure to visit  the Maritime Museum, where displays feature shipwrecks, and Meera Mosque, highlighting the town's  cultural legacy, before being driven to Mirrisa Beach to wander along the shore and capture views  of the coastline from Coconut Tree Hill.

After checking out, you will be transported to Colombo. Upon reaching, proceed to check in at your  hotel. Later, embark on a city exploration. Visit Galle Face Green, a breathtaking coastal park.  Next, discover Gangaramaya Temple, renowned for its sacred relics. Stroll through Colombo Fort,  showcasing colonial-era architecture and the Lotus Tower, the tallest building in Sri Lanka. Be  sure to traverse the Suspension Bridge, which offers views of Colombo's waterways, and the Floating  Market, providing insights into Colombo's market culture.

Take a moment to reminisce about the wonderful experiences you've enjoyed in Sri Lanka. Afterwards,  vacate your hotel room and embark on a drive to the airport to catch your flight back home.  This marks the conclusion of your journey.
