Itinerary

Arrive Siem Reap Angkor International Airport, welcome and transfer to Phnom Penh, the capital of Cambodia. Check in and relax after long hour drive.

Breakfast in hotel and check out. Morning, visit The Royal Palace, is a complex of buildings which serves as the royal residence of the King of Cambodia. Visit Silver Pagoda, locates in the southern part of compound, which houses of many national treasures including many golds and jeweled Buddha statues. Last, climb on Wat Phnom Doan Penh Hill, the small hill locates in the centre of Phnom Penh capital and being the symbol of the city. Next, learn about Cambodia dark history. Start at Tuol Sleng Museum (S-21 prison). This former school was used as a prison by Pol Pot’s security forces. More than 17,000 people held at S-21 were taken to the extermination camp at Choeng Ek to be executed. Visit Independence Monument was built in 1958 to memorialize Cambodia's independence from France in 1953. Walk along walking street / weekend street (opens on Saturday and Sunday) where you hundred of local street food display. Evening, one sunset cruise on Mekong River. Boat will cruise from Tonle Sap River, goes upper Mekong, Lower Mekong and stop at 4 Rivers junction where 4 rivers (Tonle Sap, Upper Mekong, Lower Mekong and Bassac River) meet each other in front Royal Palace. From cruise, you can see the beauty of Phnom Penh city, Diamond Island, Sokha Hotel, Naga World and the gazing riverside in the evening, blazing sunset on royal palace, while your body truly touched by the cool fresh air. Return to hotel and overnight in Phnom Penh.

Begin your stunning day with having a delicious breakfast at the hotel. Then with your professional tour guide, go discover the world’s Greatest Monument- Angkor Wat. Unlike other temples in Cambodia face to the Eat, Angkor Wat faces to the West. Angkor Wat, the largest temple in the world with a volumn of stones equalizing that of the Cheops Pyramid in Egypt. Next, explore the Great Angkor City of Khmer Empire which is the highest period of kingdom. Start at South gate of Angkor Thom, where you can collect the nice beautiful of Tonle Om River surrounding the whole city. Visit Bayon Temple, the state Buddhism temple built in the late 12th or early 13th century by Great King Jayaraman VII. In the palace enclosure, visit another main temple of Bapoun, the 11th century mountain temple built as the state temple of Suryavarman I dedicated to the Hindu god Shiva. Continue to The Terrace le Elephants, which was used by Angkor's king Jayavarman VII as a platform from which to view his victorious returning army. The Terrace of the Leper King is located in the northwest corner of the Royal Square of Angkor Thom, Cambodia. Continue to visit another hidden jungle temple of Taprohm. Taprohm is the modern name of Rajavihara, built in Bayon style in late 12th century. Evening, pick up to enjoy The Apsara Dance show with other four / five performances by Cambodian young generation in a local restaurant where your buffer/ set dinner to be served. After the performance, return to your hotel and enjoy you stay. Overnight in Siem Reap.

Today, drive 58kms from Siem Reap town to the north of province to visit the Sacred hilltop. Mahendraparvata is considered a holy mountain in Cambodia, of special religious significance to Hindus and Buddhists who come to the mountain in pilgrimage. It also has a major symbolic importance for Cambodians as the birthplace of the ancient Khmer Empire, for it was at Phnom Kulen that King Jayavarma II proclaimed independence from Java in 804 CE. The Kulen National Park contains many sites of natural and historical interest. A magnificent waterfall dominates the forest terrain and draws countless local visitors on weekends and national holidays. Visit The River of a Thousands Lingas- The cult of worshipping carved in the riverbed which represent to Hindu God of Shiva. Walk via along flight of steps to visit Biggest Reclining Buddha Statue housed on a massive boulder which is believed as The Holiest in the Country. A viewing platform at the top affords sweeping views of the surrounding jungle and hillsides. Then Enjoy and then take the nice photos of Nicest Waterfall in Cambodia. Late Afternoon, come down the mountain, and visit palm sugar village where you can see local people producing sugar from palm juice. End our visits at one of the city’s lively open markets, Psar Chars, also called the “Old Market”, where anything and everything is for sale. Return to hotel and enjoy your stay.
